Free Satellite Finder from Satbeams

The Satellite Finder tool is a sophisticated application designed to assist users in quickly identifying geostationary satellites in their vicinity using Augmented Reality technology. The application requires the use of GPS, compass, and accelerometer sensors to function accurately.

Usage Instructions:

1. Begin by entering the satellite name or its orbital location in the search field.
2. Select the desired satellite from the drop-down menu.
3. Aim your camera skyward to locate the specified satellite.

The application automates look angle calculations based on the user's current GPS location, providing:

• True and magnetic azimuth
• Elevation
• LNB tilt (skew)

To refresh your satellite list, simply press the update button located in the upper right corner of the interface.

Note: Some older smartphones may experience a delay of several seconds when activating the camera function after aiming it upwards.
